The Hungarian government is giving golden chances to undergraduate, one-tier Master’s degrees, graduate degrees, and postgraduate students to achieve their future goals without any fee in Hungary.

Thousands of students are getting benefits from Hungarian fully funded scholarships. Each year the number of scholarships as well as aspirants is increasing. It is a bilateral program. This bilateral program was signed between Hungary and sending partners from almost 70 countries. Every year the Hungarian government selects more than 5000 candidates almost from 70 countries.

• 12 years of education for undergraduates
• Bachelor’s degree holders for postgraduate
• Postgraduate degree holder or equivalent for PhD

General required documents for Hungary scholarships

• Updated CV( A brief description of education, qualification, and sometimes personal interests)
• A motivation letter(A brief document/letter that tells why are you a well-qualified applicant for the scholarship )
• Copy of passport / ID(A proof of person’s identity)
• Proof of language proficiency( a certificate provided by the university decides your level of proficiency in language)
• English translation of transcripts of records( it is proof of your academic marks and grades and courses you have taken)
• English translation of obtained diplomas(an additional skill-based qualification proof that describes your interests, and skills)
• Two academic reference letters( 300-400 words description of your abilities, character, and achievements written by your teachers or professors )

Transcript requirement:

For Bachelor’s degree programs (3 years)

Fsc/Hsc certificate and transcripts in Hungarian or English

For Master’s degree programs ( 2 years)

Bachelor’s degree certificate or diploma in Hungarian or English

For Ph.D. degree (2+2 years)

Minimum university degree equivalent to a master’s program in Hungarian or English 

Deadline

Before applying to any program must consult with the relevant desired university for deadlines and important dates. Usually, admissions take place in February and November. must contact first with the university for exact dates.

How to apply?

First, check the availability of study programs for your country on the SH website. You can select only two programs of your choice according to your previous academic record. Applications are taken through tempus public foundation (TPF).

• Go to TPF and get register yourself.
• Upload the required documents and do not leave any space empty.
• After filling out the application, make that you have submitted all the required documents and have not left any space blank.
• Provide only authentic information.
• Also, send your application through your sending partner.
• Contact your sending partner (which can be a local Hungary embassy) for exact dates and processes.
• Sending partners will make the list of best-nominated candidates and will send it to Hungarian higher institutions.
• All the nominated aspirants by sending partners must submit a scanned copy medical certificate to ensure their up to the mark health condition.
• The nominated candidate will get in touch with the concerned university directly to fix a date for an entrance exam, the score should be 56 out of 100 for considering the scholarship.

Applicants will be informed about official entrance results by TPF as coordinator of scholarship as soon as possible.
